Walk around the old town

Great sleep, very comfortable accommodation, I recommend it!!!  You'll have to read my Trip Advisor notes for more detail.
Pam and I stayed home early, Petra took Hamish to day care and Toby to the park, Frank went and picked up Belinda from the airport.  Everyone arrived back home about 10.30 and we made lunch plans - a restaurant on the Vltava River.  Walked down to get the tram and there had been a crash further up the line so opted for a train.  Got off near the river and walked across to the restaurant.  Another outstanding feed - ribs, trout and steak, all is a beautiful location in fabulous weather.  The temperature is around 25 degrees and the sun is very hot.  Walked down the river after lunch and across the Charles Bridge, a pedestrian only Bridge built in the 1300's.  The bridge lead into the old section of town.  Pam and I had a traditional dessert consisting of a pastry wrapped around a frame, roasted/grilled against an open heat, the filled with ice-cream.  Looks like we'll after to get another 10000 steps in before we stop for the day.  Lucky the beer and wine have no calories!
We got the train home, up the longest escalators in the northern hemisphere, seemed to go forever up.
Got home around 4pm and had a lazy afternoon, I think at least one person had a little nap?  Walked to the shop for some groceries for tea. Frank cooked a Webber roast, in to bed early.
